Welcome to the South Slavic Club web site. Our club, located in Dayton Ohio, represents all the countries that were part of the former Yugoslavia, plus Bulgaria. Anyone, regardless of their background, with an interest in this part of the world, is welcome to attend our functions and become a member.

Our next event is the Spring Kolo at the Czech Club, 922 Valley St, Dayton, Saturday April 12, 2025. The Zivio dancers will have their first public performance of their A World A’Fair suite. In 2025 they are featuring Bulgaria.

Next is the Eastern European Heritage Experience, Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the Czech Club. We will have a booth there.

Following that is the 3-day A World A’Fair festival on May 2,3,4 at the Greene County Expo Center in Xenia, Ohio. We will (of course) have a booth there and our dancers will be performing.

In October there’s the Fall Kolo at the Czech Club, Saturday October 11, 2025. More details to come.

And then in November the Miami Valley Folk Dancers are sponsoring a Croatian dance workshop on November 1-2, 2025 at the Solomon Pavilion in Dayton.

Lots of dancing, music and good company.
