Here is a listing of our known upcoming events.  Most of our events are held at the Czech Club, 922 Valley St., Dayton, OH, unless otherwise noted – see our Maps.  Events open to the public are in bold – come and have a good time, children always welcomed.

Our next board meeting is via Zoom, September 20, 2025, 9:30 AM. The agenda will be out soon, mainly planning for the Fall Kolo.

Our next major event is the Fall Kolo at the Czech Club, 922 Valley St, Dayton, Saturday October 11, 2025. Vatra Ziva will be performing for your dancing and listening pleasure.

Serbia is the featured country for A World A’Fair in 2026. As Serbian dances can be quite difficult we are having Serbian dance lessons at the Czech Club every Wednesday in October in 2025 (there are 5 of them!) at 7:30 – 9:00 PM. If you have any interest in performing with Zivio at the AWAF in May of 2026, or if you just want to learn some dances and meet the other dancers please come and join us.

And then in November the Miami Valley Folk Dancers are sponsoring a Croatian dance workshop on November 1-2, 2025 at the Solomon Pavilion in Dayton.

The first weekend in May is the A World A’Fair, in Xenia. We’ll have a booth there along with performances on the stages.

Lots of dancing, music and good company.
